These Terms explain who may use Orbyte, how accounts and content may be used, how Byte and voice features work, and what can happen when the rules are broken.
You must be at least 13 years old to create or use an Orbyte account. Do not provide a false birthday or help someone below the minimum age use Orbyte. Accounts that do not meet the minimum age may be restricted until the user becomes eligible, with an appeal path where available.
You are responsible for activity on your account and for protecting your password, login links, codes, and sessions. Do not sell accounts, steal accounts, impersonate Orbyte staff, or use account automation in ways that create abuse or spam.
You may create and use as many Orbyte accounts as you reasonably need. Creating a new account after a suspension is allowed, as long as the new account follows the Terms and Community Guidelines.
The spam, platform-abuse, scam, harassment, and safety rules apply to every account. Alternate accounts must not be used to mass-message people, manipulate reports or engagement, continue harmful behavior, or coordinate abuse. If violative behavior continues across accounts, Orbyte may take additional action against related accounts and use technical anti-abuse measures available to the service, such as invalidating sessions, applying rate limits, or restricting abusive network traffic.
You must follow the Community Guidelines. Child-safety abuse, scams, spam, harassment and bullying, hateful conduct, threats, doxxing, phishing, malware, impersonation, sexual exploitation, platform abuse, and illegal or dangerous activity can lead to enforcement.
You keep ownership of content you create. You grant Orbyte a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, process, resize, reproduce, display, and deliver that content as needed to operate, secure, moderate, back up, and improve the service. You must have the rights and permissions needed for anything you upload or share.
Byte is an automated AI feature and can make mistakes. Do not rely on Byte as a substitute for professional advice or emergency services. Voice-call audio may be processed to transcribe your speech, generate Byte's response, and synthesize audio.
You may only create a synthetic voice from your own voice or a voice you have explicit permission to clone. Publishing a voice to the Voice Catalog makes the catalog entry available for other Orbyte users to select for Byte. Synthetic voices must not be used for fraud, impersonation, harassment, or deception.
Server owners, moderators, bot developers, and webhook owners are responsible for how they configure and operate their communities and integrations. Orbyte may remove content, disable invites or integrations, reset misleading information, restrict a server, remove a server, or act against responsible accounts when a community or integration is used for abuse.
Orbyte may review reports, relevant messages and attachments, account information, server activity, and other evidence needed to investigate possible violations. Enforcement may include warnings, content removal, feature limits, server action, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension. Account Standing may show a violation type, severity, action, evidence, expiration, and appeal status. Eligible decisions may be appealed.
Orbyte Plus is optional. Prices, duration, renewal behavior, benefits, trials, and gift terms are the terms shown at checkout. Diamonds and virtual items are service features, not money or stored value, and cannot be redeemed for cash unless Orbyte explicitly states otherwise.
Orbyte is provided as available. Features may change, pause, or stop, and bugs, outages, security incidents, or data loss can occur. Keep independent copies of anything important.
You may stop using Orbyte at any time. Orbyte may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the service, comply with law, or respond to security risks. Where practical, Account Standing will explain the action and whether an appeal is available.
Material changes may be announced in the app. When a new version requires acceptance, Orbyte may block normal use until you review and accept it. The accepted version and time may be recorded on your account.
Questions about these Terms, enforcement, or account access can be sent through the Orbyte Support Center. Reports and appeals must be honest and must not be used to harass another person.
Use Orbyte without harming, exploiting, deceiving, or relentlessly bothering other people. Context matters, but repeated or severe abuse can lead to stronger action.
No grooming, sexual exploitation, sexual content involving minors, or attempts to endanger children.
No phishing, malware, token grabbers, fake giveaways, or deceptive payment schemes.
No mass unsolicited messages, raids, disruptive automation, or repetitive promotional abuse.
No sustained harassment, bullying, stalking, hateful targeting, serious threats, or doxxing.
Moderation actions use clear violation types instead of custom titles. Common types include Child Safety, Scamming, Spam, Minimum Age Requirements, Harassment and Bullying, Hateful Conduct, Threats and Violence, Privacy and Doxxing, Phishing and Malware, Impersonation, Sexual Content and Exploitation, Platform Abuse, Illegal or Dangerous Activity, and Other Community Guidelines Violation.
You may create multiple accounts. You are also allowed to create a new account after a suspension, provided the new account follows the rules. A previous suspension by itself is not a violation on the new account.
Continued abuse is still enforceable. If the same harmful behavior continues across alternate accounts, Orbyte may act on the accounts involved and apply additional anti-abuse measures available to the service.
Actions can range from content removal and warnings to feature limits, server changes, suspension, or bans. Orbyte considers severity, context, repetition, account history, intent, and risk of harm. Good-faith mistakes are treated differently from deliberate or repeated abuse.
This policy explains what information Orbyte handles, why it is used, how Byte voice features process audio, when information may be shared, and the choices available to you.
When you speak to Byte in a voice call, the recorded utterance is sent to Orbyte's API and may be processed by AI providers to transcribe your speech, generate Byte's reply, and synthesize the selected voice. The current Byte call implementation does not add those call turns to normal Orbyte message history.
When you create a custom synthetic voice, your recording is sent to the configured voice-cloning provider, currently Fish Audio when enabled, to create the voice model. Orbyte stores the resulting provider model identifier and Voice Catalog metadata needed to use and manage that voice. The raw source recording is not intentionally stored in Orbyte's normal R2 media bucket by this feature.
If you publish a voice, other users can see the voice name, description, creator identity shown by Orbyte, synthetic-voice label, and any generated preview made available by the catalog. The underlying provider model identifier is not intended to be exposed to other users.
Orbyte uses information to create and secure accounts; deliver messages, calls, files, servers, profiles, notifications, AI features, and social features; synchronize devices; personalize settings; provide support; prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and account compromise; investigate reports; enforce policies; maintain reliability; and meet legal obligations.
Information you post in public or shared spaces can be seen by people with access to those spaces. Public Voice Catalog entries are intentionally discoverable to Orbyte users until the creator unpublishes or deletes them.
Orbyte may use infrastructure, storage, email, security, AI transcription, AI text-generation, text-to-speech, and voice-cloning providers to operate features you request. Those providers process the information needed to perform the relevant service. Independent bots, payment services, and third-party integrations may have their own privacy terms.
Reports, surrounding context, account-standing records, enforcement decisions, evidence, server actions, administrator notes, and appeal history may be processed and retained when needed to protect users, prevent repeated abuse, resolve appeals, or meet legal obligations.
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here. Retention varies by data type, account status, safety needs, disputes, legal requirements, and whether content also forms part of another user's conversation or server history.
Orbyte is intended for users aged 13 or older. Accounts reasonably determined to be below the minimum age may be restricted while preserving an appeal path where available. A restricted user who believes the decision is wrong may voluntarily submit an age-document image for manual review by an Orbyte Owner or Administrator. Users are instructed to cover unnecessary fields. The image is not made public, is not available to moderators, and is deleted immediately after approval or rejection or automatically after 30 days if still pending.
Orbyte uses measures such as password hashing, session controls, permission checks, access restrictions, rate limits, audit records, and abuse monitoring. No service can guarantee absolute security.

The operator should publish any legally required controller identity, business address, representative, or data-protection contact before relying on this page as a complete jurisdiction-specific notice.
