1. Information Orbyte may handle
Orbyte may handle account/profile data, age eligibility information, messages and uploaded content, social/server activity, session and security information, IP/network information, device/browser metadata, support requests, and moderation records needed to provide and protect the service.
2. Byte voice calls
When you speak to Byte, the recorded utterance is sent to Orbyte's API and may be processed by AI providers for transcription, response generation, and speech synthesis. The current Byte call flow does not add those turns to normal Orbyte message history.
3. Voice Studio and Fish Audio
When Fish Audio voice cloning is enabled and you create a custom voice, your sample is sent to Fish Audio to create the synthetic voice model. Orbyte stores the provider model identifier and the Voice Catalog metadata needed to use and manage the voice. The raw source recording is not intentionally stored in Orbyte's normal R2 media bucket by this feature.
If you publish a voice, other Orbyte users can see the voice name, description, creator identity shown by Orbyte, synthetic label, and any catalog preview.
4. How information is used
Information is used to create and secure accounts; deliver messaging, calls, files, servers, profiles, notifications, AI and social features; provide support; prevent abuse and fraud; investigate reports; enforce policies; maintain reliability; and meet legal obligations.
5. Service providers
Orbyte may use hosting, storage, email, security, AI transcription, AI generation, text-to-speech, and voice-cloning providers to perform features you request. Independent bots and integrations may have their own privacy practices.
6. Retention and safety
Information is retained as long as reasonably needed for service operation, safety, disputes, appeals, security, and legal requirements. Safety evidence and enforcement records may be kept longer when necessary to prevent repeated abuse or resolve appeals.
7. Your controls
- Edit profile and privacy settings.
- Block users and manage message requests.
- Review Account Standing and eligible appeals.
- Unpublish or delete voices you created.
- Remove authorized apps and integrations.
- Use the Support Center for applicable access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests.
8. Minimum age
Orbyte is intended for users aged 13 or older. Accounts reasonably determined to be below the minimum age may be restricted while preserving an appeal path where available.
9. Security
Orbyte uses measures such as password hashing, session controls, permission checks, access restrictions, rate limits, audit records, and abuse monitoring. No service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Contact and legal details
Privacy questions can be submitted through the Orbyte Support Center. The Orbyte operator should publish any legally required controller identity, business address, representative, or data-protection contact before relying on this page as a complete jurisdiction-specific privacy notice.
